Goop G.Tox 5 Salt Detox Body Scrub ($45)
Skin Concerns: Dry, rough skin
Key Ingredients: 5 Salts, Moringa Oil, Rosehip Oil
Approach & POV: Clean Beauty — and Why it Matters
Certifications: Leaping Bunny Cruelty Free + and this specific product is vegan
If you’re looking for simple, clean body care products that get the job done and leave you with radiant, hydrated skin, Goop’s lineup is definitely an underrated option to check out.
Despite being a pretty straight forward body scrub, this one stands out in that it uses a beautiful blend of 5 salts (Himalayan pink salt, Dead Sea salt, Celtic sea salt, New Zealand solar salt, and Epsom salt) as the exfoliating factor, rather than your typical sugar-based exfoliator. That said, if you like an intense, highly fragranced sweet or floral smelling product, look elsewhere. This one offers a light, refreshing scent thanks to a blend of essential oils such as rosemary, grapefruit, and peppermint. It does contain quite a bit of oil, so while your skin is going to feel soooo soft and moisturized after using it, there are options that provide a deeper “scrub” factor - just depends on your needs and preferences.
